Début - Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic
For Belgian Maestro Ivan Meylemans, 2009 started off with his debut at the Netherlands Radio Chamber Philharmonic in its popular Magical Music Factory series for ages 6 and up. The featured work was Carl Maria von Weber’s opera Abu Hassan.
As one of the flagship orchestras of the Dutch Broadcasting Authority, the Radio Chamber Philharmonic occupies a prominent place in the Saturday Matinee and the Sunday Morning Concert series at the Amsterdam Concertgebouw, as well as the Friday series in Vredenburg Utrecht. The orchestra’s concerts are broadcasted live on the Dutch national concert station, Radio4, and disseminated through the international European Broadcasting Union network.
